from preschool to college level in the Southern United States.

Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia, as well as schools for US students in Mexico, the Carribean, Central America, and South America.

What church or denomination governs Trinity Christian Academy?

Trinity Christian Academy is not governed by any one church or denomination.  It was founded as a private non-profit corporation by a Board of Directors committed to leading the school through God’s grace.  Many Christian denominations are represented by our board, staff, and student body.  Denominationally sensitive issues are referred to parents and the family’s clergy.

Can we afford to educate our children at a private school?

The excellence of our curriculum and teaching staff and the affordable tuition provides your student with the best value in private education.  Our tuition and fees are low compared to other comparable private schools.  We have developed several methods for helping our families financially.  Our tuition can be payable monthly from August through May, or in a lump sum annually.  Our books fees are due in June so they will not conflict with a tuition payment.  We offer a significant family discount when more than one child from a family is attending Trinity.  We offer tuition scholarships based on family financial resources.

How do we apply for a scholarship?

Application packets are available from the school office.  We contract with a private firm who handles the assessment process.  This allows you to submit the requested personal financial data directly.  There is a small application fee.  Applications may be submitted on-line or through the mail.  On-line applications take approximately three days for processing. The school administrator will inform you in writing of the final decision on your scholarship application.  Scholarships, which are granted for a school year, are posted to your financial account monthly, as is tuition.

Are Trinity students required to wear uniforms?

We do not currently require our students to wear uniforms.  We have developed a Dress Code, which both students and parents sign off on annually.  It is our expectation that parents will carefully monitor the dress of students to ensure it is appropriate and within the guidelines of TCA.

Does Trinity provide a hot lunch program?

Currently we do not provide a hot lunch program for our students.  Many students choose to bring

their lunch, but other options are available.  Several local restaurants provide affordable meals for

TCA students on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.  Wednesday is pizza day, and students are

offered opportunities to purchase pizza by the slice.  The menu for the week is provided one week

in advance, so students and parents can plan for the week ahead.

Does Trinity offer an After School and/or Summer Program?

An after school program is available at Trinity Christian Pre-School. The program enrolls children through age 12.  A staff member escorts students attending Trinity Christian Academy to the Pre-School classroom each day.  Enrollment in this program is not covered by regular tuition. Enrollment is handled with the Director of Trinity Christian Pre-School and fees may be paid in either office.  This program is available during our fall and spring breaks

and on Fridays as well.

We welcome your interest and involvement as we continue to follow God’s lead towards His vision.
