This is my first year teaching at Trinity Christian as the Music Appreciation teacher. I am thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this group of committed teachers and staff. I was born and raised overseas as the child of a Foreign Service officer and moved permanently to America when I started college. I am a graduate of Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas with a B.A. in Public Relations. Although my degree is not in Music, I do have a love for music and especially music from other cultures. Along with a general overview of musical terms and the history of music in the United States, I hope to be able to introduce TCA students to other musical traditions from around the world.
I have spent the last 20+ years at home, schooling and raising my six children, four boys and two girls, ranging in age from 7 to 24. My two daughters attend Trinity Christian. I have a son at Paris High School and one at PJC. My oldest sons live and work here in Paris. My husband is the Director of the Downtown Food Pantry and we attend church at Calvary Chapel. I like to read, exercise, and spend time with family.
